Why oh why oh why oh why?
Why do plugin developers rename directories, files and PHP functions from one release to the next? You end up going back to older versions because things break, there’s no obvious benefit to the end user in enduring the upgrade hassle, and you don’t have several hours to spend fathoming change for change’s sake.

After a week of experimental changes, the site evolution is now complete. Thanks to all those whose patience has been appreciated while there’s been tinkering going on behind-the-scenes.
You can now access the site without having to login; but, if you do login, you can leave comments, and without ever having to fill in a captcha code. Some posts will be viewable by members only, either all members or those selected from the database for reason of being close friends and family, on a post-by-post basis.
