Heavy driving rain this morning, with gale force winds. It’s so bad I am thinking of confining the chickens to their coops, with food and water of course, before we make the journey over from North Yorkshire to the north-west Lancashire coast to visit friends. Just checked and they’ve got a weather warning out from midday until 6pm for much the same as we have here right now.
