Biopsy results through
The results of my biopsy came through, confirming the morphea scleroderma as being the linear type. I’ve been offered a course of steroid treatments injected into the affected area of my arm, and will discuss with my GP later this week. No idea as yet if the jabs will help with the symptoms of arthralgia, though, or how many injections would be involved, or what if any side-effects there might be.

The entire length of my right arm, including my hand, has been getting more and more painful ever since the biopsy, with each passing day. That can’t be right, can it? I’ve never known a wound take as long as this to heal, either. There are no signs of infection, though. I can only think the morphea has, for want of a better word, been ‘angered’ by the invasive procedure.
