Extract from ‘The Chronicles of the Vegetable War’
If you’re ever stuck for something to write, or want to get back into the groove but find your mind is a blank, it’s a great idea to simply start writing and see what comes out of your head via the ends of your fingers. It’s also fun, and you can come up with some really bizarre stuff. You may find you write something perfectly ordinary or completely surreal. It doesn’t matter.
Here’s something I came up with recently. I didn’t know what I was going to write until I wrote it, and after writing it I didn’t have a clue where the hell it came from. I still don’t, and doubt I ever will.
