Greedy bastards
British Gas upped gas prices to households by 35 per cent with immediate effect yesterday. Its parent company will shortly announce record profits of £880m, obtained in just the first half of this year. If the Labour government gave a damn, they’d legislate to take every single penny. But let’s never forget that it was the Tories who privatised British Gas in the first place.
