The wrong time of year
It might read as a little perverse, given that I cannot give a lengthy context to this statement, but I am of the opinion that I’d feel a little better about what is referred to as an economic downturn or second Great Depression, depending upon who you speak to and what newspaper you read, if we weren’t in October but instead found ourselves in the midst of all this doom talk at the very start of spring.

“Capitalists can buy themselves out of any crisis, so long as they make the workers pay,” said Lenin. Who’s Lenin? Oh, just some guy who talked a fair bit of sense for much of his life about economies, greed and wealth distribution. You can be certain our capitalist leaders today are set on making us pay for all the banks and bad debts currently being snapped up ‘by necessity’. The times call for a revolution in thinking, yet those whose very existence has been validated by a corrupt system cannot, and will not, think outside the box. Bad news for everyone.
