The Spicy Cauldron is four years old
The Spicy Cauldron celebrates its fourth birthday today. I wasn’t sure how to celebrate, but I eventually decided that this week I will be reposting just one entry per day, Tuesday through to Saturday, from each of the years that the site has been running (so that’s five entries over four years, because I’m going to stick to the calendar years and include the five months of 2004 as one year).
The entries I highlight won’t be what I consider to be the best of my output, at least not necessarily, but they will, for one reason or another, be seen by myself as having been significant milestones along the way. I may even provide follow-up commentaries, especially if my feelings, thoughts, and opinions have changed between then and now.

After a week of experimental changes, the site evolution is now complete. Thanks to all those whose patience has been appreciated while there’s been tinkering going on behind-the-scenes.
You can now access the site without having to login; but, if you do login, you can leave comments, and without ever having to fill in a captcha code. Some posts will be viewable by members only, either all members or those selected from the database for reason of being close friends and family, on a post-by-post basis.
