BBC radio shows come to iPhone

BBC iPlayer now offers iPhone users access to a seven-day archive of radio shows over a wi-fi connection only. O2’s contract includes a ‘no streaming’ rule to prevent customers from making good use of 3G as, when, and if they can ever get a 3G connection. If, like me, you rarely see the 3G symbol (or E for 2.5g Edge) appear on your iPhone, don’t worry about it—the contractual ban makes the connectivity pretty useless.
