My novel WOOF! is set in Manchester, England, 1992. This was a great time for alternative, pop and rock music. I’ve created my own Spotify soundtrack for the book, which you can access from the sidebar (right). It includes songs (Blue Monday, The Lovecats, The Shoop Shoop Song, It’s A Sin) mentioned in the actual story plus several others not only popular in 1992 but relevant to the plot’s characters and themes. I’m not going to sit here and explain them all. If you’ve read the book, or go on to read it, you’ll understand why I chose the songs I did and why The Cure get two entries and everyone else featured gets just one.

I think it’s a good mix that captures the spirit of the book but let me know what you think.

I have acolytes. We eat quiche. We will fight the Anti-Quiche and its dark summoner as foretold in well-cooked prophecies contained within the Book of Delia. I write poetry, stories, rustle up a little political prose and generally lark about with chickens and friends. I enjoy life more and more as time goes by. I've got books for sale. Buy them. They're very good. Ask an acolyte!
