Why oh why oh why oh why?

Why do plugin developers rename directories, files and PHP functions from one release to the next? You end up going back to older versions because things break, there’s no obvious benefit to the end user in enduring the upgrade hassle, and you don’t have several hours to spend fathoming change for change’s sake.

TLJ ยป Oh, don’t worry about it–it’s a WordPress thing! Everything is constantly updated–the blog software, the plugins… It gets tiresome but most of the time it’s for good reason, to ensure everyone stays one step ahead of the hackers and spammers trying to break blogs. x
