Poem: Worrying About Him

Worrying about him,
Death follows, obviously,
one-word emphasis,
let’s not go there, let’s go
beyond the point of no return
instead, lacking
the words, obviously,
two-word emphasis,
singular not plural,
focus on the aftermath,
avoid cliché,
end up saying nothing.
