Only 3 days left to get your entries in, people!

Just three days left to get entries in for The 2nd Annual Spicy Cauldron Awards. Find out what’s required of you on this page. You can also check out last year’s wonderful winners by following this link.

Don’t forget you can enter short or long text pieces—poetry, essays, anecdotes, stories, critiques and so on—or, if you prefer, graphic art and digital photographs. Just remember the theme, which is the word ‘cauldron’. Do with it what you will. You might write about the history of the cauldron in paganism… or cooking. You may want to use the word as a reference in a piece on melting pot multiculturalism. Or in a poem. You could write something about the witches of Macbeth–great cauldron advocates!–or the ways in which you can use a cauldron in spellcraft (though this competition is open to anyone, not just pagans by any means).

Think about the shape of a cauldron, the things that can go into a cauldron, the role of the cauldron…

You could simply write anything and find a convincing way to incorporate the word. Your entry can be about cauldrons or anything. It just has to feature the word or be inspired by it. Be funny, serious, sexy, sad, depressed, elated, odd, eccentric, conservative… It doesn’t matter where you’re coming from!
