Poem: The Sight of a Photograph

The sight of a photograph
brings darkness, a knife;
residing deep in the pan,
the know-what denied,
the goat of a kidder
lies tied up in chains,
pleading no, no, no.

An image to maintain,
the story with a start
and a middle
never gets
the end it deserved.
The shitting pot stirs,
it scalds as it simmers

all over and over and over again.
